Industrial Training is a concept conceived by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Students undergo an industrial training for a period of 9 – 12 months in the last year of the practical training. An articled assistant having passed the IPCC/PCC examination under ICAI can serve as an industrial trainee in any financial or commercial institution or a company operating in this industry. On satisfactory completion of the training, a certificate in Form No. 105 is issued to the trainee.
CS students having passed the executive or professional Programme have the option to commence 15 months training under a practicing company to gain knowledge of industrial functioning.
CCV India is a group of experienced chartered accounts and company secretaries with adequate knowledge serving in the industry for more than 10 years. It provides CA and CS training for industry exposure and career growth.
Industrial placement, where a student undertakes a period of training with an organization usually during a semester break, plays an important role in preparing the student for a professional career. From the hands-on training, the student learns about the skill sets required, demands of the industry and also work ethics. At the same time it gives the student an opportunity to put into practice what he or she has learned at university.
The main objective of Industrial Training is to expose the students to actual working environment and enhance their knowledge and skill from what they have learned in the college. Another purpose of this program is to instill the good qualities of integrity, responsibility and self confidence.
The industrial training process will make the students job ready faster. Industrial training will also enhance the personal skills including presentation skills. Gives students a glimpse on how they will be doing their work in future. They gain some work experience during such training.
